The cost for your repair will depend on which model Watch you have and what part needs repairing. Most common repairs are cracked screens, batteries and lifting displays. Apple don’t offer repairs for the Apple Watch, instead they replace them for a fixed out of warranty fee.
We are able to offer individual repairs, this often means we are much cheaper for Watch repairs.
If you’ve managed to crack your Apple Watch glass screen or it has stopped working you’ll need a full display assembly replacement. This is due the glass being laminated to the OLED panel. Others may claim to be able to change just the glass, however this can lead to issues with touch sensitivity and de-lamination of the glass from the OLED panel.
Luckily we can carry out nearly all screen replacements in under 1 hour using original parts and retaining NFC functions. We transfer your original NFC data to the new display ensuring Apple Pay and Pairing functions are not impaired.
Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee any water proofing after a repair. We do replace any seals that are broken to open your device, however we cannot guarantee full water proofing, only water resistance after a Watch repair.
If you regularly submerge your Watch in water, we’d recommend a replacement device instead.
We have a lot of experience in dealing with liquid damaged devices. Our process involves fully disassembling the device, removing any shielding and then cleaning the logic board in an ultrasonic cleaner with a special solution. All other components will be assessed and tested to ensure they work.
If you’ve managed to get your device wet, we recommend powering it off, not charging the device and don’t put it in rice. Pop it down as soon as you can and we will begin the cleaning process.
We aim to complete most Apple Watch repairs in under 1 hour at our Trinity Leeds store, this includes screens, batteries and buttons. More complex repairs such as liquid damage or rear glass changes can take a little longer to complete but we still aim to have your device repaired in under two hours in those cases.
